Pensacola National Naval Aviation Museum

 

The National Naval Aviation Museum is located in Pensacola, Florida. The museum was established in December 14th 1962. The museum is also called the National Museum of Naval Aviation or the Naval Aviation Museum. The museum includes things from the United States Navy, the United States Marine Corps and from the United States Coast Guard.

Added to all the wonderful naval aviation displays, the National Aviation Museum includes an IMAX theatre, a café and a museum store. Most Tuesdays and Wednesdays between March and November, you can see in the morning from the museum practice demonstrations by the United States Navy Flight Demonstrations Squadron, the Blue Angels.  The principal mission of the museum is to collect, preserve, select and display different historic artefacts relating to the Naval Aviation. The impressive collection of the museum counts over 700 aircrafts and more than 4 000 uniforms, flight gear, weaponry, medals and decorations. The museum has almost one million of visitations each year and over 70 percent of the visitors come from outside of the Florida.
